Container accessories are the parts and fittings that make a shipping container work harder once it is on the ground. An empty container wastes most of its volume, because anything stacked above chest height is unsafe and anything at the back becomes unreachable, so racking and shelving are usually the first thing a buyer adds.
This section covers shelving and racking kits in bolt-on and freestanding forms, lockboxes and security fittings, vents, lighting, ramps and internal fit-out parts. Most items are sized for standard 20ft and 40ft containers and fit both standard and high cube profiles. If you need something for a modified or side-opening unit, tell us the container it is going into before you order, as the fixings differ. Alongside racking, this section also carries the site fittings that a container or cabin setup needs to function, such as sit-on waste tanks that sit beneath a mains-free toilet block and take its waste where a site has no drainage at all.
