Description
A 3+1 steel toilet cabin measuring 16ft x 9ft, or 4.88m x 2.7m externally, with 4.63m x 2.445m inside. It carries WCs, basins, urinals and water heaters on a sealed vinyl floor, and has no windows at all. Fitted extractor fans handle the ventilation instead, which is also what makes it hard to get into when the site is empty.
Sizing it to the crew
Medium and large sites where a 1+1 unit will not keep up with the headcount. Two steel entrance doors with deadlocks mean two compartments can be in use at once rather than everyone queueing at one door. Insulated walls and ceiling with tubular heaters keep it usable through cold weather. It stands on corner posts, so nothing needs deploying and it sets down on level ground.
