A refurbished Groundhog towable mobile welfare unit, 2010 model, with a diesel generator on board. has been refurbished internally and externally and splits into three separate spaces, each behind its own anti-vandal door: a canteen, a drying room housing the generator, and a toilet. It is easily towed with a one man operation.

Where these earn their keep

Welfare provision on sites that move: highway and utility works, short-duration contracts, and locations with no mains water or power at all. Because the generator is built in and the toilet is self-contained, the unit is usable the moment it is unhitched and levelled. Multiple safety and anti-vandal features mean it can be left on site overnight without a guard on it.

  • Drying room fittings: tube heater with cover, PIR bulkhead light, coat hooks
  • Toilet compartment: self contained flush chemical toilet with sink, PIR bulkhead light, coat hook, toilet roll holder, and dispensers for soap and towels
  • Access: 3 anti-vandal exterior doors, one to each of the 3 separate internal spaces, all with hidden hinges and built in locking mechanisms
  • Glazing: 1 window in the canteen space, behind lockable steel shutters that can only be opened from within
  • Finish: exterior color grey / green

As a custom cabin, this specification can be replicated using current stock units, and that requires a 2 week lead.
