Description
The 20ft standard dry container is the industry benchmark for portable storage and intermodal transport, and it is the size everything else gets measured against. Built from CORTEN anti-corrosive steel, which resists rust better than plain steel and is the reason these containers last as long as they do. New units of this type are often referred to as one trip containers.
Jobs it handles well
It is easy to load, easy to access and easy to handle, and it holds about the same as a one-car garage — enough for most site, farm and business storage without needing a 40ft and the space a 40ft demands. It will also carry high-density product such as metal or dried grain and still stay within weight limits, which not every container size manages. Where goods need to be kept apart, multiple units are the usual answer.
