Description
This is a new one trip container that has been cut down to 30ft. External dimensions are 9.12m long by 2.44m wide by 2.59m high, internal 9.00m by 2.35m by 2.39m, with a 28mm marine ply floor and a unit weight of 3190kg. The cut end is finished with fabricated rear panels and corner posts, and the whole container is prepared and resprayed inside and out.
How it gets used
Thirty feet is a compromise length, and it exists for one reason: sites that cannot physically accept a full 40ft container but need more than 20ft of run. Yards with a tight turning circle, plots with a boundary in the wrong place, and access roads that will not take a 40ft trailer are the usual cases. Because the base unit is a one trip container rather than an old box, the steel and the floor are effectively new.
