Description
Used 40ft high cube containers straight out of the shipping lines, sold wind and watertight. At 2.90m external height they carry roughly a foot more internal clearance than a standard 40ft on the same footprint, which is the whole reason most buyers pay the difference. Expect honest used cosmetics: this is a working box, not a showroom one.
What the extra height is for
Plant and digger storage, where a standard container is a few inches short and a high cube is not. Tall racking, stacked pallets, anything that goes in on a forklift and has to clear the door header. They are also a sound base for conversion work, since a finished floor and ceiling will eat into headroom before you have put anything inside.
