Description
An insulated 40ft container is a reefer body without the running refrigeration gear. The insulated shell on its own flattens out the swing between day and night, and between summer and winter, so the inside stays far more stable than a bare steel box. There is no compressor, no power supply to arrange and no running cost.

Dry goods that dislike temperature swings: food, fishing bait, furniture, paper goods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and electronics. Growers and processors use them as a buffer between the field and the cold chain.
